JEM Skincare is an exclusive skin and body therapy boutique located in the heart of downtown Saratoga. Jessica Rom founded the business in 2004, driven by her unique vision of providing results-oriented skincare services in a relaxing, luxurious setting.

JEM Skincare quickly outgrew its original location and moved to Saratoga in the Fall of 2007. The move provided Jessica with an opportunity to expand her original vision by accommodating more clients and retailing customized skincare products.

With only two skincare treatment rooms, JEM Skincare continues to provide its clients with an intimate setting, personal attention, and customized services. Unlike larger spas, every aspect of our business - from the design of our treatments to the friendliness of our staff - is focused on meeting the unique needs of each individual client.

Jessica Rom, Owner & Esthetician

Jessica Rom grew up in the San Jose area, attending Archbishop Mitty High School. She graduated from UC Davis with a degree in psychology before becoming an esthetician in 2003. Jessica is also a certified massage therapist. Education is very important to Jessica, as she continually strives to gain more knowledge in the fields of esthetics, cosmetic chemistry, kinesiology, energy healing, and massage therapy. She is an active member of the National Aesthetic Spa Network, and routinely attends ongoing education courses, studying under well-known leaders of the skincare industry. Jessica is known for her relaxing touch, attention to detail, and her thorough understanding of product chemistry and skin structure.

Michelle Batra, Esthetician & Massage Therapist

Michelle Batra started her esthetics career doing makeup artistry and gradually expanded into skincare and all forms of body waxing. Also a massage therapist, she is trained in shiatsu, craniosacral, deep/sports tissue, and other therapeutic touch as well as energy healing. She takes a holistic approach in all of her treatments and services, emphasizing balance and wellness for the client.

Ashley Hardy, Esthetician

An esthetician since 2005, Ashley is a veteran of the Downtown Saratoga day spa community. She joined the JEM Skincare team in October of 2010 after a neighboring day spa closed. A perfectionist by nature, she excels at sculpting perfectly arched eyebrows. Ashley cares for the overall well-being of her clients, understanding that problem skin can affect the physical body as well as the emotional spirit. Ashley listens to her clients concerns and assists them in achieving their skin care goals by performing customized treatments and recommending individualized home care routines.
